....was he a Presidentical candidate at the time, and what was the event he addressed?

2. What fucking difference does his status as official or candidate make? The important difference is

visible and apparent, Teddy was there slapping back with Falwell himself. Jerry has been dead for 8 years and Liberty has made some changes. Here are some quotes from the man Teddy appeared with and for:

Now if you want Presidential candidates doing nasty religious rally shit to pander for votes, we can review Obama/McClurkin 2008 if you'd like. His ardent supporters do not like it to be brought up. But we most certainly can because fair is fair and those with double standards should all go straight to hell.

Oh, and the event, as Jerry informs the viewer, is a Moral Majority rally. Dig that.
