Come on now, closest thing to a hoverboard . I purpose that from the moment a person learns to walk, they are looking for ways to get around it. Consider my own life - a kick skateboard, skates, bicycle, sleds, etc., etc. all the way up to the car and am now sitting in a chair with rollers on it which I will use to scoot from one side of the room to the other rather than getting my fat ass off of it.

around a supermarket or mall. Cool! And it's size and low weight are a real plus!

...watching the vid to control it you need to lean in a controlled fashion. Often people with mobility problems have those problems due to lack of fine control. All this device would do is allow them to fall from a higher rate of speed.

And it has small wheels. Really small. The back ones look to be about 1 inch. The fronts are maybe 2 inches max. Further, while I can't see the front wheels, the rears appear to be milled metal, not rubber. They'd have no give or flex when encountering an obstacle.

Pebbles, sticks, etc are going to risk stopping one side or another if this thing. The best the devices control system can do in that case is stop the other side to match. (If it doesn't then the device will twist as it stops, making things even worse.) That all happens about 2 inches off the ground, meaning the passenger is now going into a tripping motion, but without the built in leg motion granted by nature and a walking stride to give them a chance to catch themselves. Face plant city.

So, this is best suited for fit younger kids/adults who want to show off a gizmo.

imho.

The wheels are awfully small - especially for outdoor use.

Hey, you could put a heavy box on them to help you move the load.
