Dramatic dashcam footage shows car blown away by tornado in Taiwan

Dramatic dashcam footage had emerged this week of a car getting blown away by a a mini-tornado in Taiwan over the weekend. This incident, captured on the dashcam of the car behind, occurred in Tainin city Sunday as Typhoon Soudelor swept across the country.

The video shows a white car pulling out in front of our driver before debris starts to swirl around the car and the tornado swallows the car and sweeps it away. The eagle-eyed folks at the Washington Post produced this still which shows where the minivan ended up.



It was an extremely lucky escape for the woman seen sitting on the road after the tornado moves on.
