The facts stated in the picture are, indeed FACTS. They are in-context and completely un-distorted. They are provable by anyone of any political persuasion. Yet conservatives still nuance and lie their way into believing twisted and illogical versions of these facts. And these conservatives vote and donate to Republican candidates.

We have to support Democrats with our $$ and with our activism. Get out the vote. Pick Hillary, or Bernie or whoever reflects your views and donate and vote. We cannot afford a Republican in the White House. It would be unthinkable.

Cholera and dysentery just for starters.

Then there's the stupidity of thinking everyone in jail was a political prisoner of Saddam. They "liberated" a bunch of people who sought revenge against those that sent them to jail. In some cases is was husbands who went home to rape and murder their wife.

We see what happens to communities when they're hit hard by a devastating disaster. Loss of the lives of loved ones, jobs, homes, schools, means a rise in depression, suicide, and a plethora of other mental health issues.
How do you weigh the cost of it all? Saddam is gone, and so is his family. But look at what's replaced his rule in that region. How dare a Bush minimize the pain that's been endured by these people.

Elric: Well, take this for what little it will profit you. As I look at you, Ambassador Mollari, I see a great hand reaching out of the stars. The hand is your hand. And I hear sounds–the sounds of billions of people calling your name.
Londo: My followers?
Elric: Your victims.

P.S. This video almost demands the viewing of the one wherein Mollari unwittingly has his first dealing with a representative of the Shadows. It goes to the vanity and insecurity behind the quest for glory and grandeur, the siren call of which lured those who pushed us into war.

I want a rebirth of glory, a renaissance of power. I want to stop running through my life like a man late for an appointment, afraid to—to look back, or to look forward. I want us to be what we used to BE! I want…I want it all back, the way that it was!

for the 20 seconds or so in Fahrenheit 911 for showing Iraqui people living normal lives under Saddam Hussein, kids on swingsets and flyng ki.tes. That was called a distortion of reality when in fact Iraquis were living like many in the west, playing in heavy metal rock bands and women showing heir faces and hair in public and wearing make-up and western clothes.

Greece not that long had a military dictatorship, Russia has something of a dictator in Putin. And of course :cough: Saudi Arabia :cough:.

(By way of ineptness and malfeasance) Render any of those nations into barbarism and you'd be called the worst kind of dangerous criminal.

No one mourns Hussein and he was a thorn in everyone's side. His murders and tortures, his bellicosity and plots, were reason to want him gone. Our best minds thought up a strategy to eventually win out over the Russian bloc without taking down civilization while doing so. It's a sad commentary that the Bush administration didn't have the wherewithal to match their kind of vision against such a relatively insignificant, and already hemmed in, country like Iraq.

All the resources of the CIA couldn't fund and organize a leadership to eventually supplant Hussein's clique in the Ba'ath party? Even when the writing on the wall was clearer every year?

34. So very true Jeb is caught in his brother’s lies…
Fri Aug 14, 2015, 03:17 PM
Aug 2015

With family tradition all the lies in the last millennium of the Bush Crime Inc. these are family lies of Jeb. Besides something smells fishy and the media just ignores it.

The catastrophes of the Bush Crime Inc. include the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill began on April 20, 2010 and lasted 87 days, releasing about 4.9 million barrels of oil into the ocean from a mile deep well.

Halliburton a key player admits to cover up, the key player here is long time Crime Inc. friend Cheney skipping away with million if not billions in profiteering.

Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/lessons-from-deepwater-horizon-oil-spill-2012-12#ixzz3iochn0De

This oil spill is categorized as the largest oil spill in American history and the effects on public health and food supply are determined and kept in silence.

Ground Zero is a war monument of Bush Crime Inc. Profiteering in your face, they made money on the new Twin towers and slapped America in the face sending the bulk of twin tower salvage to China, was that move used to cover up the details of crime? Details surface on the Internet that the complicit media avoids talking about the material for a new war ship. Never forget the corruption...

The biggest media complicity is Bush Crime Inc. long time business partnership with the Bin Laden family that has been going on for decades in the last millennium.

What is really striking is the complete silence by mainstream media in Bush’s long time association with Nazi finance during world war two.

Today history repeats itself with arrogance and defiance Bush Crime Inc. along with Jeb covered up a massive air lift of the Bin Laden family days after 911. A secret air lift so the Royal Arab family would not be jeopardized. Yet nineteen Arabs are identified as 911 terrorist.

Bush Crime Inc. ethos or integrity of lies continues to penetrate todays very depreciated transportation railroad company the Union Pacific. I intend to prove that Union Pacific company safety managers are still tied to old fashion retaliation or retribution with the ability to make employee’s as victims rather than assets.

My true story will convince America will be another Bush Crime Inc. victim.

39. Great post. I'd like to add mention of the people made into refugeees
Fri Aug 14, 2015, 04:58 PM
Aug 2015
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refugees_of_Iraq

By 16 February 2007, António Guterres, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, said that the external refugee number fleeing the war reached 2 million and that within Iraq there are an estimated 1.7 million internally displaced people.[10] [11] The refugee traffic out of the country has increased since the intensification of civil war.[10][12]

This is a demonstration of one of the reasons why it's considered a war crime to use false pretenses, and no credible threat, to invade a country and destroy its ability to maintain the peace. And it flat out stinks that our Congress doesn't allocate more money to take care of these people. To talk more of that would be to head to an off topic rant.

I think many Republicans saw Iraq as a potential future regional power. It had a ton of oil, including long-term oil reserves. And it had a senior military leadership that gained tactical skills in the Iran-Iraq war.

Saddam's state was quite pathetic towards the end. 12 years of sanctions, along with the air campaign against Iraq during Desert Storm, had left the country a shell of its former self. But many Republicans saw long-term potential in Iraq to become a future regional power.

The war has left Iraq decimated. I think that this was exactly what many of the war's proponents wanted.
