I really enjoy while watching Begin Japanology videos!

One interesting point of this was was the cultural nature all these years of living in a densely populated area and holding on to traditional social exchange, even in the presence of lots of alcohol. This is a better twist on what I see in the 4 states I've lived in. There's SO MUCH NEEDED social support in the venues in Tokyo.

Weirdly, in earlier outing an today, my hubby and I saw some awful people passing in their pickup with large U.S. and Confederate flags flapping in the breeze, defiant looks on their faces, and a bumper sticker on the back of the truck that said, "Bully". Were I to go into a tavern with those folks (unlikely), how much at home would I feel?
