Thom Hartmann: Why This Republican is Voting for Bernie…

In the Democratic primary it's looking more and more like it will be a dead heat between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. So which candidate do the Republicans want to run against in the general?

That would be the percent of those eligible to vote who did not vote in 2014 (includes registered and unregistered people). Sanders is involving alienated voters, and Clinton doesn't stand a chance with them. Though I think she could pull some older Republican women who still remember "Help Wanted--Male" and "Help Wanted--Female."

can return Representative Democracy to us! No one denies that the wealthy have taken over the rule of our country, it's time we do something about it! We must fight for our government to take it back.
There is a lot to do such as:
Busting up Wall Street banks;
Busting up media conglomerates;
Locking the revolving door;
Giving our regulatory agencies the budgets and desire to regulate their industries;
End judicial elections;
Address climate change, infrastructure, immigration, trade policies, and the bloated military budget!

It will take Bernie being able to motivate enough Americans to pressure/elect politicians to do the right thing. If they see that Koch money will not save their seats, but properly representing the will of the people would keep them in office they will do the right things!
