Hiding out from the issues doesn't seem to be working....Maybe Hillary should tell DWS to schedule a few more debates...

the pollsters just didn't ask voters the words they associate with Bernie Sanders or whether the pollsters didn't want to admit that those words were either don't know or honest, intelligent, smart, good, fair, authentic, real, words like that.

I think when I campaign for Bernie, I will start out by asking people what words they associate with Bernie. That would be fun.

I note that the Iowa poll that shows Bernie within 7 points of Clinton assumes a Biden candidacy.

What if Biden does not run? What happens to his points?

Clearly, the Biden voters are picking him because they don't want Hillary in addition to liking Biden. That suggests that those votes will not all go to Hillary although some of them will. They are essentially taken from Hillary.

So if Biden does not run, it will look like Bernie's numbers have dropped even though they won't have dropped. Hillary's could go up if Biden does not run. Bernie will gain some of the Biden votes.

But I wonder about whether those polls are really polling all of Bernie's supporters. I don't know how they decide who is a "likely" voter. Bernie is getting support from "unlikely" voters. That is what is surprising me.

I'd like to know what words people associate with Bernie. I bet they are surprisingly good. I wonder why either that question is not being asked or they aren't announcing the answers.

except in 08 our 'progressive' turned out to be a lot more "establishment" and a bit less "progressive" than we had hoped; so lets just consider 08 a dry run for the 2016 race since this go round we have a genuine progressive in the mix.

He called Bernie a fringe candidate
Amazing how he (Joe) changes his opinion
