We have two. They keep each other company.

They are not home alone much at all, but it is nice for them to have a furry friend.

Or at least his next-door neighbor. My friend thought the neighbor was playing the piano to make the dog howl. So when he saw her thr next day, he mentioned that it was kind of annoying to do that all night. She was very puzzled and said, "I wasn't home last night."

They figured out the dog was doing this. So, from then on, she closed the cover on the keyboard, and it solved the problem.

Not that I didn't believe that the video in the OP was true, but it's fun to know that it really can happen. Dogs really do have a rich inner life.

The camera is set up perfectly to frame his action. They had to know what it would be ahead of time.

If a neighbor complained about the piano playing in the middle of the day and the folks know that they are not home during the day, maybe they set up the camera to see what is going on with the piano while they're out.

Maybe they thought they were going to catch a ghost or a neighborhood child who sneaks in to play piano.

None of which makes the clip any less hilarious.
