Food Industry Warns Of Life-Threatening Shortages From Climate Change

Leaders from the food industry issued a warning to Congress last week, telling them to take action on climate change or face a global food shortage. Leaders from companies such as Kellogg’s, General Mills, Nestle, Mars, and many others co-signed a letter published in The Washington Post, where they warned about the threats that climate change poses to the food industry.

People and societies who don't look, listen and act perish, obviously. If Big Food doesn't have clout with the moronic obstructionists then somehow we'll have to step in for our own sake and posterity. Something has to give on this issue now somehow NC Jack. The fight for survival is innate...

Among other things, Indian women who took over the battle ground after Little Big Horn pierced the eardrums of US soldiers, so they would listen, in the next life. (Just remembered that).

Climate Change legislation and the corporate media has been complicit in keeping it as a debate instead of a reality.

Time has run out, we must do something! Americans like to brag about being The Leader, except on this issue they say the other countries won't so why should we? Even China is starting to address this while the tax credit for solar panels drops from 30% to 20% next year.

Support Bernie and push for Publicly Funded Elections and we can dramatically cut Big Money's influence over our government. Only then can we enact real Climate Change regulations and pass things like High Speed Rail, better fuel efficiency standards, better emissions standards, bigger credits for more insulation in homes...
