Bogie is great, as always. But Claude Rains triumphs in this scene, and in the final scene. Often left out in Hollywood accolades, this was Rains' best role. His final scene with Bogie is priceless.

Certainly the best WWII film from the French perspective. And one of the great films of all time.

Vive la France!

It brings tears to my eyes every time.

Always loved Mireille Mathieu and the Marseillaise and the warning to be merciful to those who are unsure of what they are doing.
