He doesn't now, and he never did.

This whole thing, just like the last campaign and just like his October surprise over Obama's supposed lack of citizenship, are just an attempt to market himself and build his entertainment brand. Anyone who takes the guy seriously is a dupe. Anyone who seriously considers voting for this guy needs to have their voting rights revoked.
