This kid & his dad understand more about the Paris attacks than any Republican could ever hope to



kid: We have to be really careful because we have to change houses.

dad: Oh no, don't worry. We don't need to move out. France is our home.

kid: But there's bad guys, daddy.

dad: Yes, but there's bad guys everywhere.

kid: They have guns. They can shoot us because they're really really mean, daddy.

dad: It's OK, they might have guns but we have flowers.

kid: But flowers don't do anything. They're for ... they're for...

dad: Of course they do. Look! Everyone's putting flowers!

kid: Yes?

dad: It's to fight against guns!

kid: It's to protect?

dad: Exactly!

kid: And the candles too?

dad: It's to remember the people who were gone yesterday.

kid: The flowers and candles are here to protect us.

dad: Yes.
