This caller wants to debate gun control, but doesn't realize that Sam's WAY ahead of him on the issue.

1. Sam is right. I should be able to buy a LAW.

It's my Constitutional right. It's an armament and I can bear it.

Shotguns, handguns and assault rifles are not enough firepower.

The guy who called in was so SLOW too that he didn't even realize he was being punked.

3. The caller was obviously not prepared for Seder to up the ante on the gun control debate.

The caller was expecting Seder to argue for gun control and he could pull his Second Amendment rhetoric he learned from the RW talk shows he listens to and show Seder who's boss. When that didn't happen, the caller was like a fish out of water. He didn't know what to say or how to respond. It was pretty good on Seder's part.

4. Damn! Sam takes a page from MY book!

I have used this argument a number of times, and the best they can tell me is that a rocket launcher is much more destructive than an automatic rifle. I can't own a cannon either.
Hell, I want my shoulder mounted, laser guided, nuclear missile! If they are coming for me, I want to be SURE that they are dead. Very dead! It's my second amendment right to bear arms!
It doesn't say in the Constitution, anything about the strength of the arms that one has the right to bear. Therefore, I should be able to keep and bear a shoulder mounted, laser guided nuclear missile!
Plain and simple!
