TYT: YouTube Star CJ Pearson Renounces Conservatism After...

A thirteen-year-old YouTuber famous for his anti-Obama videos is now distancing himself from the GOP. His reason for doing so is awesome. Ana Kasparian (The Point) and John Iadarola (Think Tank), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"CJ Pearson, the 13-year-old viral YouTube star made famous for his rants against President Barack Obama, has renounced conservatism, according to a Friday interview with CNN.

Pearson told the network in an email that the GOP's stance on racial and gender disparity compelled him to change.

"I was tired of being a champion of a party that turned a blind eye to racial discrimination," Pearson told CNN. "Tired of being a champion of any cause that denies equal rights to every American. Tired of being a champion of a party that doesn't care about the issues important to young people."

Pearson's made headlines in September after he made a video from his Georgia homequestioning why Obama had invited that "Muslim kid" to the White House. He was referring to Ahmed Mohammed, the Dallas-area student who brought a homemade clock to his high school.”*

decade has he learned that merits telling anyone else? It took rhetoric directed at him personally before he put his megaphone down.

If he hasn't returned to the fold then in just a few short years, like so many young Black men, he will run afoul of the law, not because of anything he did or for something minor that a White person could do without police coming down on him or her, and republicans will be all, "See? Here was this future GOP superstar that we OF COURSE didn't just care about because he was young and Black, and he lost his way and became a liberal democrat, and now he's in this situation."

It won't actually matter if he's a liberal democrat or not - if you're not with conservatism then you're the enemy.
