I really believe this level of gullibility and stupidity we've seen in this country is the result of exposure to Faux Snooze, the RW talk shows and the pure hate people have for the Black man in the White House.

Does anyone remember when President Obama was first running President in 2008? Democrats were not even claiming that President Obama was the Messiah, but some in the Republican Party put out an ad mocking Democrats and their love for President Obama because of President Obama's desire to make so many things better. Then again in 2012, Mitt Romney mocked President Obama for supposedly trying to be the Messiah, or thinking he was the Messiah because President Obama wanted to tackle climate change.

So, if a Democrat wants to makes things better and does not want to stand by and let things get worse, that person is acting like the Messiah and somethings is dangerous about that person. However, if the father of a Republican Presidential candidate claims his son is the Messiah there is nothing wrong with that line of thinking.
