Not sure whether they're expected to get worse snow or not. But looks managable from this camera angle.

It's January, no? One might expect snow storms this time of year, no?

I was born and spent a few years in St. Paul before we moved out west to Portland, Oregon. We had mountains of snow in Minnesota. It's what happens every year. We've even had worse snow storms in the Pacific Northwest that look a damn sight worse than what is I've been seeing in the news.

I'm sure it's going to get worse, but I would think the folks back east know how to deal with "winter"?

The good side is fox-nonsense is talking about something besides tRump/cRuz and Obama-bashing. That's refreshing.

of around 15 counties and cities in DC, VA, MD, WV, PA. When that many people and vehicles converge on multiple transportation systems, roads, highways, bridges, subways and trains to get to work and around, even several inches of snow and ice can be dangerous. The average super commute in the area is about 90+ min.
Patience is all I can manage when explaining it those who say, "why don't you people go to work!" when there's significant snow or precipitation in the area. Asked about Their commute, it's 20 min. PLUS free parking! in cities/places like Pittsburg, suburban Boston, Delaware, Raleigh, NC, JAX, Norfolk, St. Paul, MN, New Mexico, etc. Blows the mind.
