Is The GOP Really This Dumb?

The GOP’s autopsy report laid bare their problems with the American voters. Unfortunately, they didn’t take those lessons to heart, and they’re about to make the same mistakes they made in 2012 all over again.

Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

The contemporary GOP member doesn't parse the details, doesn't analyze, doesn't believe in the law of gravity. They only respond to the dog whistles and the red-baiting. Their leadership knows this, courts it, and over the years has spent billions propagandizing to foment and nurture a voting public they can manipulate along with a captive press they can bamboozle.

It is why we have the occupation in Oregon, the police murders in Missouri and elsewhere, and the gun driven outrages in Colorado, South Carolina and California.

Karl Rove, the Koch brothers and others less visible have done this to the American electorate in their utter contempt for ordinary citizens.

And yet there are those who believe the in lesser of 2 evils; who imagine that the current political situation is the best we can expect and deserve...small minds indeed.

For the greater part, they have lost their minds.

They have been sucking on the hate hookah brought out by Reagan so long their can't breath clean air anymore. They cling to their bile like it was the finest uncut heroin. Some of them are so far gone, death is preferable to surrendering hate.
Some do it in the name of wealth.
Some do it in the name of religion.
Some do it in the name of control.
Some do it just because they're assholes.
