4. real leadership is being able to change based on new understandings, new evidence

Anybody who has held to the same views from when they were 18, then to college, and the same views at age 30, the same at age 50... is not to be trusted.
Hillary like all of us has learned over her life. This is a good thing (compare Cruz).

The one thing we should require is that a person/candidate be candid. "I used to think..., but I came to realize/learned some more... and I changed my
opinion, and here is now what I think." If the talk is based on "seeing new evidence", so much the better. Add, "I was wrong back then, but I am dedicated
to righting..."

"Like all of us, I was a product of my upbringing, surroundings, and times. The best characteristic in a real leader is being able to change based on new understandings, new evidence."

I would like to think that all of us at DU would be proud to affirm such honest talk that reflects our own lives.

Is that she will step on anyone if it benefits her politically. She will turn her back on the black community in a quick second. She cannot be trusted.
