Discussion of Bryan Pagliano, the staffer for Hillary Clinton who helped set up her personal email server. Reporter Adam Goldman who broke the story joins Morning Joe to discuss.

finding out who committed a crime.

5. Norman Goldman covered this in tonight's show.

Mr. Pagliano was called to testify before congress some tie ago (1-2 years) and he & his atty. determined that the Pubs in congress would make any kind of accusation imaginable on anyone who is a Dem. so he took the 5th to deny them that opportunity. When the FBI is dong their investigation, they at least claim they are looking for the truth so they want to get this guys testimony about the server installation, content and any reason he may know as to why Hillary wanted to use it instead of the Gov't one. The only way to compel his testimony is to guarantee HIM guarantee him immunity. It does not mean Hillary or anyone else is in any kind of trouble, it's just to complete their investigation.

Given DOJ and FBI involvement and all that.

Plus, the guy took the Fifth in earlier testimony. One does not do that on lawyer advice unless there is at least some chance that a crime has been committed.

Just the situation alone supports your speculation.
