(16,104 posts)Joe and Mika have been in the tank for "The Trump Show" ever since Bridgegate took out their favorite Chris Christie a while back.
Mika has become merely an entertainer - an actor playing a role - and she is unwatchable now.
Their faux contempt for Democrats and Obama's Washington keeps Trump coming back for phone-in time.
Senator Warren wants the Democratic primary to settle out without her weighing in, probably because she actually likes both candidates. A win for Democrats either way to her mind.
"Transcripts" is just more BS anyway - just more unfounded speculation and innuendo.

The MSM is really a bunch of upper crust overpaid egos
Nora O'Donnell has no business cornering a US Senator into a
condescending 'yes or no' answer on anything
What journalism needs is a flat maximum wage of about $44 an hour

(8,812 posts)That should've been a softball question for someone like Warren.
I hope she's not becoming a fulfillment of her own cautionary tale about Hillary and the bankruptcy bill.
You have to be extraordinarily strong to avoid the powerful corrupting influence of our rigged system. Almost no one can do it. I really thought Sen. Warren was one of the ones who could. Perhaps she still can, and perhaps she's merely choosing to pick her battles for the greater good. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by that exchange.

(57,936 posts)That is the most independent position in an administration, and Warren would do it well.
I don't think that Warren agrees with Hillary on a number of major issues and is not that versed in foreign policy. So she would not be the VP pick.
It's kind of shocking to me that someone who is supposed to follow politics very carefully has so little understanding of the positions in the government to think that Warren would be a VP pick. I assume that the folks on Morning Joe either did not carefully read or do not understand Warren's book.
I would like to see Elizabeth Warren endorse Bernie Sanders. She will lose my respect if she does not do so.

(274 posts)Often not knowing can be just as effective as knowing. Why be seen as a nasty person, when Rove and the republicans will do your work for you. Remember how Hillary said in Miami, that the Koch Brothers were running adds on Sanders behalf. Like Bernie Sanders, just watch when Trump reveals his speeches to Wall Street. Then the republican will have released his and she'll have to release her speeches... or suffer the fallout of another so-called mis-statement. One more, among many. Trump rubs elbows with the bankers and other 1% in the Big-Apple, he knows where the bodies are buried, so to speak.
The Clinton's didn't lose in 2008' --- They came in through the back door, Obama is just leaving the light on for them.
Good for you Liz...

I realize there's a small minority of people on the left (and certainly a cadre on the right who want to bifurcate and demotivate the left-of-center and moderate voters) who are HOPING that the speeches are on topics like "How to rob the little guy blind" or "Tapping into your inner Scrooge" but those people are going to be bitterly, bitterly disappointed.
People don't hire celebrity speakers to teach them THEIR business--they hire them because they want a brush with fame, and a picture to hang on their office wall that tells the schmucks visiting them to do business that they are "somebody" and "a force to be reckoned with."
I'm astounded at the number of people who just don't understand this.
