Alyona discusses a new op-ed in the New York Times by a 23 year old Yemeni, the headline is, "How Drones Help Al Qaeda". We know that we've launched drone strikes in Somalia, and thanks to Jeremy Scahill's reporting for The Nation, we know that there are proxy prisons that the CIA has a hand in, as well. But this week, the news is spreading that next year, a brigade of 3,000 soldiers, if not more, is going to deploy to Africa in a pilot program.
