After all, his lawyers say, Hastert’s name has “become forever tainted,” and he has been “stung by the public repudiations of him that followed his indictment, including the removal of his portrait from the United States Capitol.”

Let's all ask Ryan to put the Hastert official photo back in the Capital... at the entrance to the mens' shower room in the House Gym.

Perhaps Ryan can sponsor another bill... to name all the MENS bathrooms in the Capital Complex to HASTERT-FOLEY MENS ROOM. This would be a great reminder forever of the christian Republican Family Values.

I still think outside the mens' showers is the best for it. They could also put in a memorial LAZY BOY rocker there.

The main reason I'm glad Hastert's portrait has been removed is that, of all the things coming out of his 40 years of sexual predator cover-up, the removal of his portrait is the thing which upsets him the most. YIPPEE. His priorities certainly speak volumes about his version of "family values."

The worst are those who use their position of authority to prey (often while praying) on the young.

I have no sympathy for them. Hastert should be locked up forever.

On some level he must want to be punished. On the other hand, maybe it gave him more of a thrill to risk such a harsh punishment and get away with it. I heard Ted Bundy moved to Florida BECAUSE they had the death penalty and by that time he got a big kick out of intentionally challenging law enforcement. Still, it seemed like Bundy wanted to get caught. How else could he get credit for his "genius?"

If I were Hastert's judge, I would read that quote to him during sentencing.

the bathroom.. Even though there's NO history of sexual misconduct.. NONE.

Yet, there's been a very significant number of Republican politicians busted for restroom misconduct.

Hypocrisy and repression is the core of their very existence.

the criminals and felons they are representing also. Why are politicians exempt from many laws that other citizens have to follow. They can get a gun and carry permit if they are a killer, yet serve in a state or federal position. If we look at many of the sex abusers and or criminals most are older men mainly Republicans.
Let charge, and put them in prison for LIFE. Ignore the attorneys as they get millions for words they speaks

I want the statute of limitations on any kind of child abuse including molestation to be gone.
