(6,974 posts)Assuming that she wins the Dem nomination and runs against either Trump or Cruz, I don't think she'll be running against a moderate in either Cruz or Trump. As for Independents, I doubt they'll go for either Trump or Cruz in big numbers, especially given their crazy rhetoric on women and minorities.
Trump & Cruz are too extreme.

(5,621 posts)The Republicans are already planning a way to block them. The power in the Republican party will pick a perceived moderate at the convention especially if Hillary is the dem nominee.

There are fundamental differences between a primary a general election.
