By the way, where are all those Clinton supporters who were up in my face last Saturday, screaming about what a "fucking disaster" (their words) Senator Sanders' Vatican invitation was?

Hello? Hello?

When compared on the news tit for tat like this it just makes her look out of touch with where the Democratic Party should be heading.

...then he can raise money for the Democratic Party.

A great many of us give directly to candidates that WE support, because we know that if we give to the DNC, that said money would flow to the corporate conservadems that we DON'T support. And the conservadems will go on to lose the election anyway, because conservatives will vote for the real R over the fake R, and conservadems actively write off the Democratic base in a vain effort to appear "moderate."

Seriously, we've lost almost 1000 state legislative seats, and a whole lotta governorships and members of Congress, since DWS became DNC chair. She endorses Rs over Ds in the name of "comity." Can't have a D win in a district next to hers. And this is who Democrats trust to determine which candidates receive the financial support of the Democratic Party?

When we get someone who doesn't shill for payday loan sharks as head of the DNC, then we can talk about giving to the DNC again.

I get it. Establishment dems are butthurt that there's a serious outside challenger to the party fundraising structure. But unfortunately the party has compromised itself to the point where an outsider is needed to make the necessary changes to bring the party back to We the People.

I think the wise statement for Bernie and others: as soon as I win the nomination our campaign will broaden to bring many others dedicated to solve today's problems.

Honestly I would support a whole new breed of Independents that lean right and align with the republican platform and Independents that lean left and align with the democratic platform.

The point I will make it is obvious that both the DNC and RNC needs some profound soul searching.

1. It wasn't the middle of the night, and it wasn't at 4:00 AM as you have been lying in other posts on DU. It was at 6:00 AM.

2. Senator Sanders was invited to attend the conference by the Vatican and was staying in the same guest house, on the same floor, where the Pope resides. You really think it would be good manners to stay at someone's house and not make the effort to thank your host?

3. Had Sanders NOT greeted the Pope, I'd bet dollars to donuts you'd be posting something along the lines of: "Such ingratitude. Sanders couldn't even be bothered to thank his host, which is common courtesty. It's all about him!"

Honestly, some of the bullshit posted by some of the Hillary Clinton supporters makes my skin crawl.
