We all join together to pay for sidewalks and streets (and they are mostly everywhere) because we all share the need to walk and drive and go places.

We all pay for public schools because we know that all our children need to learn reading, writing and arithmetic, and it's much better for all our children if they can go to schools and learn.

Lots of things we know that every one of us needs, so we join together and share in paying for them.

Modern healthcare is just another one of those things. We all need it sooner or later. And it makes sense to join together and pay for it so that any one of us can get it and afford when we need it and not just when we don't need it. Because very often when you need healthcare the most, you are too sick to work; you have no money, and you can't afford for-profit health insurance.

It's about our bodies.

I've lived in countries with universal healthcare. It's great. As the video says, you get dental, vision, all coverage -- and probably for less than you are paying now -- because -- efficiency.

Think of it. Healthcare when you need it. More efficient, less expensive administration. No out of network problems. In the end it will cost you less.

Great ad. Explains it all.
