JANE SANDERS EXCLUSIVE: Campaign Strategy and Future with ED SCHULTZ, April 27, RT

Jane Sanders and Ed Schultz discussed the political revolution that pushes on and the Bernie Sanders campaign in terms of status, personnel, strategy, issues, differences with Clinton, the future and convention. Ed showed video clips of Clinton's speech from the night before, noting many similarities to Bernie's platform including expanding social security, college debt and healthcare issues. "The talking points are exactly Bernie’s talking points and we’ve known for the last year that she’s moved much further to the left, in terms of campaign rhetoric,” Jane Sanders said. But Jane stressed that people have to look at Bernie's long term commitment to issues like anti- fracking and trade policies that he's always opposed.
In the upcoming races in Oregon and California people will be surprised at his strength Jane added. Bernie it seems has not only turned Clinton on some issues, but also Trump who is talking a lot lately about trade and helping workers, Ed commented. Jane responded that in looking at all the candidates, compared to a year ago when Bernie first announced his campaign, "Bernie's won already in terms of shifting the frame of the debate." He's brought things to the surface and has people actually talking about the issues. Bernie's brought millions of people in, some who had given up on the political process, she emphasized. She has no doubt Bernie would fare better than Clinton against Trump as the polls show. It's the closed primaries where he's not gaining. Bernie is rallying and working hard in Indiana now, and Jane said they are looking forward to winning a lot of states coming up and looking forward to continuing the fight to win the nomination.
