(8,267 posts)she's the "presumptive nominee."
(Frankly, I don't recognize our party anymore -- promoting a candidate who is considered a liar by the majority of this nation's citizens, and who is under investigation by the FBI. SMDH...)

(3,123 posts)findings at any time now. And the facts, as Jake tapper said, do not look good.
I urge them all to stop drinking the koolaid and just start familiarizing themselves with the facts so far without the spin of the HRC campaign.
They have big decisions to make by the time July comes.....or they may find themselves the ONLY people canvassing for our presumptive nominee who IS under investigation and who may already have been charged with a crime.
500 people canvassing is enough, right?
Because I'm giving fair warning:I am not knocking on my neighbors doors and asking them to vote for someone under investigation or one who is under a possible indictment.
So, you Superdelegates?
Do your f***ing JOB. Your JOB is to save the Party from a scenario like this.
Just do your JOB.

What did that get her?
A 22 point loss.
Now, we are seemingly at the point were the investigation MIGHT conclude.....and it may very well happen that she is put completely in the clear.
But then again, Mr Comey appears to be in no rush - those coin toss wins for her? The law of averages do not favor her that much anymore.
BIG gamble going with her, Yuuuge.

(525 posts)You're PROMOTING the idea that the #of votes needed to win is in the tossup range?
That's what you think is a GOOD thing?
That Clinton might barely edge Trump, but it's mostly a tossup right now?
That map is a nightmare if you don't want Trump in office. It's not something to brag about.

(44,130 posts)have you seen Al Franken's assertion that his "judgment is more important than the judgment of Minnesota voters," thus, he's supporting Hi11ary despite Senator Sanders win by 22% in Minnesota?
The cognitive dissonance is strong in this one...

(18,964 posts)I'm worried about the "IDIOT CAUCUS" in the House calling for hearings immediately after Hillary officially becomes the Democratic Party's nominee...
You and I know that the hearings will be televised (probably on CSPAN for sure) but they will also get gavel-to-gavel coverage on FOX (faux) News and headlines and "analysis" on CNN and even MSNBC as well as play on the major networks ad nausea...
The Republican Party will benefit from the equivalent of A BILLION bucks in free advertisement when this goes down...
Don't think it will make any difference? Don't think the American public will fall for it?
Can you say SWIFTBOAT?

(5,400 posts)but it looks like there's been a notable amount of pushback to the "nothing to see here" narrative. Will this snowball? It's a topic that allows the media to speculate and talk, and not spend money on investigative journalism, so they might develop an appetite for it. The story does have its intrigue.

(1,782 posts)Paul Thompson's timeline about Hillary's emails ( http://thompsontimeline.com/The_Clinton_Email_Scandal_-_Short_Version_-_Part_1 ) contains lots of documented evidence.
Hillary endangered national security by sending secret using her private email account and her private server. See timeline entries for January 21, 2009 - February 1, 2013; July 3, 2009; 2011 (second entry for the whole year); January 21, 2011 - January 22, 2011; April 3, 2011; April 10, 2011; and May 15, 2011.
Hillary violated government use about handling classified information. She knew the rules. On January 22, 2009 (first timeline entry for that date), she was briefed on the proper handling of classified materials. The same day (second timeline entry for that date) she pledged to safeguard classified information whether marked or unmarked.
And yes, what she did was against the rules. On November 4, 2005 (see timeline entry for that date), the State Department issued a policy saying its day-to-day operations were to be done on government servers. (Hillary used a private server.) When Hillary takes office, home computers are allowed as long as they are certified secure -- and there is no evidence that Hillary's was. (See timeline entry for January 21, 2009.)

(3,123 posts)They need to get up to speed quickly....just in case.
But the won't....because it's HRC and all bad things said about her are some part of a vast rightwing conspiracy.
Bet she wishes that someone broke into her house, 'in a 3rd rate burglary attempt', and installed that server....oh wait, that was a different person running for President.

(581 posts)that cares. The media and Republicans have nothing else against Clinton so they pretend the emails are poison. Why doesn't the Media focus on Trump, he is a fraud and the media uses him for ratings. Clinton will make the best President, esp if the Senate and House can get turn to support her.
The MEDIA and PRESS is silent on the Republicans and what they are passing in Wash.
Just, wow...
