2. Bad Problem, Bad Solution

That is a smug, self-righteous and abrupt solution to the problem of suddenly discovering your mother is a racist.

This says more about the daughter's lack of knowing what is going on in her mother's life, and then making a public spectacle of the problem to excuse her sudden discovery. I ain't buying it. The cure is worse than the disease. She will be teaching her children to throw a hissy fit and publicly shame those they disagree with, rather than confronting the problem in a responsible and sensitive way.

And then writing an article about it? Was she gonna sell this gossipy story all along? Is that what motivated her to be such a clueless buffoon for so long?
