(10,495 posts)December of 2001! I have a very common name and I have been harassed, guns pulled on me in airports, delayed, missed flights etc., all because, at least according to the FBI, a terrorist from South Yeman used my very common name as an alias.
They really do not purge the list so the can have automatic probable cause to give many people extra attention, screening surveillance, and searches.

(930 posts)Every time I see the body scanners at airports, I (sadly) think of Michael Chertoff, who apparently owns one of the manufacturers of said items.
Rig then game the system.
Anything but Bernie Sanders.
