He doesn't even sound like he believes himself. But he sure excels at talking down to people.

Honestly, I'm still not sure whether Rmoney is a serious Presidential contender, or just the world's cleverest stand up COMIC.

Please keep him in the spotlight as long as possible.

Aside from George W. Bush, this bumbling twit is the best advertisement AGAINST the myth that billionaire alpha-dogs have EARNED their billions by being the smartest, most able guys in the room! He's done more to destroy the myth of the superior breed of "job creator," who DESERVES to be mollycoddled by the government than any LEFTISTS EVER COULD!

That Roberts draws a distinction between a state penalty and a federal tax...anyone have details on this?

On the Massachuttes law so to say anything to the contrary is a flat out lie. The hair Romney is trying to split is that he has always claimed that the language surrounding Massachuttes law is that it is a penalty and since the Supreme Court did not correct that language that by omission they ruled it is a penalty. There is an old geometry theorem that says "things equal to the same thing are equal to each other". Using that standard both the federal and Massachuttes madates are a tax.

Saying "He's such a liar" isn't nearly enough, and adding swear words doesn't even help.

So I offer this:

I would like to photograph Mitt Romney's face at the instant he learns he has lost this election to Barack Obama, and share that moment with the world, so that all who so desire can bask in the anguish that Romney will feel when he realizes his failure. Only that will smooth over the abrasions caused by hearing his lying mouth tell its ugly lies. Only that will suffice.

He's agreeing with the majority about the mandate requirement being a tax but also saying he agrees with the dissent. Then he's trying to say that because states have police powers that Romneycare somehow isn't a tax even though it imposes the exact same policy as Obamacare; buy health insurance or pay a penalty. Just because the state government has different powers from the federal government doesn't mean that one is a tax and the other isn't and I'm almost certain the majority opinion never said that.

"Why know the name of a thing when the thing itself you do not know?
Whose work is it but your own to open your eyes?
But indeed, the work of the universe is to make such a fool of you
that you will know yourself for one, and so begin to be wise!"

She actually went after him on this bizarre attempt to re-write history and distance himself from his own idea.

I'm sure her bosses will put a stop to that nonsense but it was fun while it lasted.

the supreme court had the final word as to obamacare. They said it was a tax so therefore it is. The supreme court never ruled on romneycare so the final word on it still resides with himself and he says it is not a tax - disingenuous at best.

to get medical treatment than pay a "tax" instead of a "fee". That's really hating taxes. Let's see now. Don't pay your NRA membership, reduce your contribution to televangelists, and reduce your purchase of tickets to NASCAR, pro-football, MLB, etc. and you have your insurance "tax" covered. Maybe you will have enough left over to get your teeth cleaned by a professional.

The impression I got from the WSJ editorial was "You've flip flopped on everything else and you're trying to land on your edge on this one???"

The editorial openly invoked the image of President John Kerry. Everything the GOP said John Kerry was, every BS spin they pulled on him, Mitt Romney is. And you got Joe Walsh in the background with the Purple Heart bandaids for Tammy Duckworth. And still nearly half the country is going to suck it up and vote for this guy.

Carlin's quote about the average person's intelligence is so apt here.
