Papantonio: Romney In Deep With Oil Lobbyists

You may not know the name Jack Gerard, but that’s a name that everyone listening needs to become familiar with. Gerard is the president of the American Petroleum Institute, and he’s become one of the most successful and influential lobbyists in the country. He’s said publicly that his goal is place an oil lobbyist in every district in America, and he says that he will be able to make people actually cheer for the oil industry by the time he’s finished as president. And the end of presidency might come next year if the rumors are to be believed, as some credible sources are now reporting that Jack Gerard might actually become Mitt Romney’s chief of staff. Mike Papantonio talks about this possibility, as well as Jack Gerard’s sordid history, with investigative journalist Lee Fang.
