It does come to pass that they actually act on what they say. So when a portly Premier of Russia promises to bury you take note. This goes for the cult leader who makes blanket nuclear death threats, he is not your friend. When a domestic politician makes racist, and bombastic threats it is permissible to take him literally. At best he is trying to appeal to people you may disapprove but you do not know that it is safe to discount alleged words and take them literally. You do not have to accept bullying.
