Perhaps we're seeing a turning point in the media's coverage of Donald Trump's scandalous background. The Newsweek article due out today will be an interesting piece of reporting.
Thanks for posting the ad, napkinz.

(5,942 posts)positive. I live in a very republican county of Florida, and all the negatives like this that we hear about Trump, the other side considers it a plus - IOW, he'll be able to use that ability to scam & skirt the law/rules/regs on behalf of us, the American people. They don't care if he's a criminal, as long as he uses his evil for good (us) and doesn't get caught. And the fact that he's gotten away with this type of thing for so long, only proves their point that he will be a success at it in the White House.
Moreover, pay-to-play doesn't even sound like it's criminal behavior.

(22,670 posts)Greasing a politician's palm. Bribery. Pay-to-play. Under the table money handling.
Pitch that to law-and-order republis. This is criminal behavior. He knows it's against the law and yet he does it and does it blatantly.
The ad will be effective, because it shows one absolutely clear example, one of many that aren't also shown in the ad, about Donald Trump's illegal business behaviors.

(5,942 posts)In my neck of the woods, they see this as a smart way of doing business. Lots of small business owners. Under the table is SOP. And the fact that Trump announced his "expert ability" in this regard way back in the repub debates and no one raised an eye in the media just substantiates their view that this is acceptable behavior.
