this is about Obama pushing for a vote before the next president and the next Congress take office.

We no longer have Representative Democracy because our politicians represent their Donors.
Renewable energy is stymied in this country because of it. Public schools are starved of it. No rational gun restrictions; single payer health coverage; no Wall Street prosecutions; regulatory agencies unable to do their jobs; oligarchies in banking and media allowed to exists; and constant war to benefit the MIC to name a few.
We do have to get the money out of politics!
