7. I think they're both pretty impressive - hope they do what they say

Really, we should be standing behind them and Pelosi and the rest of the Dems. Rallies bring awareness and generate energy around an issue. They let the PTB know people are paying attention and are not just going to lay down and take the abuses of having their healthcare and retirement taken away.

EVERYONE should make a habit of writing and calling your reps and Pelosi, Sanders, Warren, and Schumer REGULARLY - we saw yesterday what effect that can have although the corprat media gave undue credit to SHitler for OUR activism. EVERY ONE OF US must be actively involved in OUR government. It's been stolen from us by millionaires and billionaires and yuuge corprats. We have to at least try to take it back. ACTIVISM is the only way. They aren't going to give our government back to us willingly. We have to TAKE IT from them.

Doing your civic duty as a citizen involves more than voting every few years. ESPECIALLY now.

BTW, point your podcast aggregator towards Rachel Maddow where you can get the audio version of her program. It's very handy for folks like me who have no cable TV and no broadband INet. At only 10MB download it gives one their Rachel fix on most nights (although MS/NBC is often very late -- or missing -- on posting it).

Nevertheless, Rachel is still one of the most intelligent broadcasters. She always brings historic context to current events, something nobody else does.

This is one of the best Rachel Maddow programs I've heard in a long time. That's saying something because she is rarely off target.
