because he doesn't know of care about policy. all he knows is how to manipulate the system for personal profit.

he wants to do deals so he knows how he needs to manipulate the system.

without active deals telling him which regulations to cut and such, he's hasn't a clue.

fortunately for him, uday and qusay will have plenty of profitable policy proposals....

Really, think about the possibilities. Could be terrific, and also could be terrible. Will surely be interesting.

4. They won't ask because they need a job and want to be celebrities.

It doesn't matter what they say or what their positions are anyway, if confirmed, they'll just go along with whatever batshit crazy tRump idea has anyway. The job pays whether or not they disagree.

they don't need a job or it's pay. Remember these are government jobs. By their standards - the pay is a pittance.

So I ask why would these nominees want to put themselves in a position that they would have to deal with crazy Trump?

Who knows? Maybe some of them will get to do some things and manage to stay out of prison.

If they haven't discussed issues with the president-elect - how can they even want to take the job?

Doesn't it speak less of them - that they didn't do proper due diligence? What if when they get confirmed and when they have to deal with situations/issues - they find out that they are 180 at odds with Trump? Has anyone asked them this question?

"Sir - what are you going to do when you confront an issue and find out that you don't agree with your boss - Trump? How are you going to handle that?"

So is it just an ego thing that they have consented to take the given post? Why would someone of their stature want to put themselves in that position? It makes no sense to me - unless they were chosen by someone other than Trump and were told that Trump is just the figurehead and you won't have to deal with him.

Either they know that Trump won't last long as president and they won't have to deal with him or if Trump manages to keep the presidency - we'll see a number of resignations by his cabinet members.

What's going on?

10. Their visits to Drumpf Dower were filled with one-sided conversations
Thu Jan 12, 2017, 02:58 PM

The Pee-Resident-elect controlled the agenda completely. Full of the same word salads that were dished out on the campaign trail. Any visitors who had any sense of his/her surroundings knew immediately that their appointment would hinge on obsequiousness and unquestioning loyalty.

rMoney is likely the only one to challenge Drumpf with a "How?" or "Why?" and thus didn't make the cut. At least he got a photo-opp and a meal out of the visit...

And they're gonna change how they define those terms over and over depending on Donald's mood. I'll bet he skips most cabinet meetings, too. All the department heads will have to follow him on Twitter to know what the issues of the day are.

One might think his "brain trust" were actually calling the shots, while letting Trump think he's in charge.
