A look back: All the President's Men.

Last edited Wed Jan 18, 2017, 11:29 PM - Edit history (2)

A documentary produced by Robert Redford and featuring all the principles in both the scandal and the film.

This is really good stuff. You'll see almost the entire cast of characters in the history of Watergate, including the incredible Ben Bradley. Even Mark Felts (Deep Throat) makes an appearance.

It is a history that we should all keep in focus right now.

It's feature length, and well worth it.

Kicks, commentary would be helpful.

A burglary to steal information from the Democrats. How closely that
parallels 2016, espionage, only now it's global and a foreign power is
involved. And in both instances, the winning campaign denied involvement.
We have yet to see how the second instance plays out. Follow the money,
there could be deep roots.

If you did not live through it, it will be an education. If you did, it might give you some semblance of the current danger.

BTW, I love John Chancellor's reporting on NBC, featured in this video. His reportage on the Saturday Night Massacre is legendary, sadly not featured.

And sadly, this is the only short snip available on YouTube of that incredible reportage.

is that in the film it's 40 years later and
he's still crying about

which says he still lacks perspective on Nixon's guilt
