1. Our public education is a clear example.

They intentionally make it bad so that private schools prosper thus killing public education altogether.

He did leave out that the RW media like Fox has played an even larger role in convincing Americans that "Uncle Sugar" is bad! They hammer this home every hour of every day using psychological tricks to keep their viewers angry that they are being taken from by "Takers!"

All of this so TPTB can make more of our tax dollars and privatize everything!

2. New Deal

All of this goes back to the republican loathing of the New Deal of FDR. If you trace back the actions to Reagan you will notice that they have been steadily chipping away in an effort to completely destroy the safety net and the protections for the people !
