So we can just skip that one and not be irritated for the rest of the month.

Not that it would be any great loss, his audience obviously doesn't appreciate them. And he seems to have the worst ones on, maybe to have someone for his liberal guests to play against, but I still find it irritating.

To have on these RW guests. I mean we get enough of their pablum on so many other shows.

But I enjoy watching them come onto Mahers show full of bravado only to get shot down with facts and humour done in the direct and deliciously quick witted way that only Maher can deliver. I think most come on his show under the assumption that any publicity is good publicity and maybe they are looking to sell a book or something. But I always enjoy watching a RWer have to sit and take it (the truth) The truth about their own party's complicity in deplorable behavour, including, and especially, the commander in chief they still support. Maher is uniquley qualified to handle these assholes. Unlike the still pandering MSM news and MSM talk and entertainment shows.

Excellent idea!

The rw'er (when it's one on the panel) often dominates the show with their talking points buillshit. When it's two rw'ers it's insufferable.

She also divulged she has never met Bill-O even though she had appeared on his show "remotely" on multiple occasions.

I have no problem with hearing contrary opinion on any subject.

Echo chambers, intolerance, and suppression of free speech is THEIR wheelhouse - not ours.

I just find her style to be repellent.

Trust me, I have been slammed many, many times on DU for posting articles which include "contrary opinions."

There have also been times when I have seen Raw Story, Huffington Post and Mother Jones slimed here because what was written didn't match the expectations of the person commenting on my thread.

I follow it all...I want to know what is being said. Call it "know your enemy" or whatever you'd like. I am one of the least echo-chamber-y people here.

I just can't stomach Cupp's personal style.

Yes I've felt this before too. Dislike of her "style". Usually difficult to describe but this segment has a great example:

"Everyone suffers from hypocracy"

There was a good and reasonable discussion-- and then some painted on false equivalency at the end?

Another example is at the beginning of the Syria discussion where she says she's being contrary by discussing it "in moral terms". Inappropriate framing.

Overall I didn't dislike her here. I think she could be more successful if she stopped trying so hard to be partisan.

I couldn't stand to listen to that crap. Bad enough I had to see her waving her hands and arms all over the place.

Funny, on mute, her mouth looks like she is about to throw up. Kinda gross.

It isn't just that Trump complained about Obama's golf time then exceeds it himself, it's that the Republicans were the ones who suddenly decided it was a issue under Obama when they were perfectly fine with Bush taking even more time. Several times more, IIRC.

It's that since the point is bullshit we are subjected to the Gish Gallop.

An intelligent, insightful contribution is short and to the point.

Cupp, Kingston, et.al. need to filibuster and shout.

Believe me.

Please excuse me, but after years of watching SE Cupp dissemble, it seems to me that she doesn't have ANYTHING to offer in ANY discussion of national policy, she's only been placed onscreen so that the distant memories of exciting sex on the part of oldster assholes males might make them take at least a moment to try to her seriously.

Is that all it takes? Maybe, sometimes. Dana Perino falls in the same category. Lovely, lovely lips.

Seriously though. Is that all it takes to make some people take her seriously? Are you kidding me? Nope.
