First of all, this is bad optics. Here you have a White woman who was rewarded for mediocrity. She is not qualified for that position and has ideas about education that do not mesh well with the people sitting in that audience. Black people often have to work twice as hard for half of the stature that Betsy DeVos has, but because she is from a wealthy family she got selected to be Education Secretary. This HBCU president should be ashamed of himself and she got exactly what she deserved. I got my entire life to seeing people turn their back on her and her getting booed.
