How in God's name could they ever construe someone who has violated every good Christian moral value as being "chosen by God" to lead this nation??? And then, watching videos of Right Wing Watch here on DU with evangelical pastors praying for a Trump victory saying, "He may be a little rough around the edges, like the apostle Peter, but I do believe that he is chosen by God". Well, I got news for you - boasting about pussy grabbing and bearing false witness every chance he gets is much more than just being "rough around the edges" - it's rotten to the core! Or, take another video that I saw here on DU, with a bunch of evangelical types putting their hands on Donald's shoulders and praying for his success in the election - and then Donald raising his head and grinning for the cameras with the insipid, inane look of Mad Magazine's Alfred E, Neuman - What, me worry? This clearly told me that he really doesn't give a S__T about their religious pretensions - he's just using them.

"I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Hillary", some Republican voters would tell me before the election. And I would tell them, "You think Hillary's corrupt? If Donald Trump becomes president, you will see corruption like you've never seen it before!" Unfortunately, I have been proven right. But since I could plainly see Donald's true nature, and could plainly see where he wanted to take the country even before I entered the voting booth, I didn't vote for him. That, and the fact that the Donald never, ever fleshed out his grandiose campaign promises with any concrete details regarding HOW he would accomplish what he promised.
