What a story that was !

The Audible is performed by a dozen excellent readers.
It was an immersive (pun intended heh) experience.

It's the story of how life goes on in NYC - aka Great Venice - after the first two "Pulses" of flooding. In one section the author describes how it plays out.

It's not gonna be pretty.

By 2140 it's under about 50" of water, and people have adjusted to living and surviving there.

It was quite a tale, and a sobering reminder of what we're giving to our future generations.

heart breaking. I have to wonder how many "Manhattans" disappear every day.

I see nothing "miraculous" about this. It has been a preventable disaster that the government has done nothing about because they are owned by corporations.
