All the insurance mafia has to do is spend brazillions on ads with images of flustrated white folks having to sit in crowded waiting rooms full of minorities (with crying brown babies for added effect) and ask:

"Is THIS what you want for your family??"

Then again, if the Democrats had good messaging, they could respond with an ad with frustrated white folks sitting outside the hospital, wishing they could get in and get treatment for their cancers, diabetes, etc.

I'm of the opinion that if you could point to THE ONE moment that Chumpcare jumped the shark, it would be this (1:15):

but he never fails to mention the ultimate goal and moving the needle in a certain direction.

Other countries have figured out how to deliver HC to the majority of their citizens at a lowest cost, why are we so behind?

We cannot expect to remain a great nation if our citizens are unhealthy and undereducated. This did not just crop up overnight, we have been declining for decades, all the while shouting our nation is the best, slogans only get one so far.

You have to continuously move the needle in the direction you think is the best, Sanders understands the long game.

I would have loved a Sanders vs Trump matchup.

We don't have a time machine, so we can't get to where they are now in two years.

And if you try to tell some people that they did it slowly over decades, controlling costs incrementally, growing with technology as it grew, you are called a shill for big pharma.

So there are some obstacles.
