He is a very intelligent man.

If I lived in Texas, he would get my vote.

He knows the issues.

He listens to the people and knows their wants and needs.

Vote Aron Ra.

Intelligent, outspoken, focused.

But he has one big problem: he's a prominent atheist.

I wish him all the best.

The Republicans and Evangelicals that are destroying this country need to be stopped !!!!!!!

A country that is anti-science, anti-women's rights, anti-equality for all races, purposefully

strives to keep it's prisons filled, and allows the police to murder it's citizens should not have global influence.

I don't want the U.S. to become a Corporate Theocracy backed by the military and the police.

But this is Texas we're talking about.

Before people get upset with what I just wrote, I know that there are millions of intelligent and thoughtful people in Texas. Unfortunately, they are outnumbered by evangelicals, people who hate public anything, and bigots who vote and put people like Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, Rick Perry, and Greg Abbot into office. Those people believe that their backwards opinions and practices are getting good results.

I wished he lived in California and was running here! Nothing but respect for the man. His thoughtful and studied takedown of creation and the Noah's Ark myth (among many other wonderful topics) are on YouTube for all to learn from.

His home is in Garland, so I think that it means he is running against Bob Hall. I'm not familiar with his political views, but initial impressions are going to sway voters. The long hair and atheist background will be drawbacks for the voters in his district.

Not just because it's Texas. Let's not forget that that in a poll taken in the last couple of years, most people said they'd have trouble voting for an Atheist. Even many Atheists felt that way
