(2,143 posts)Meryl Streep, who in the late 1980s raised awareness on pesticides and forming the group "Mothers and Others", took the opportunity to speak at this charity concert in aid of the protecting the environment. "An Evening with Friends of the Environment" featured celebrity mothers Olivia Newton-John, Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, Cher, Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin and Robin Williams. Filmed at the LA outdoor Greek Theater before a live audience, the celebrity cast sang What a Wonderful World at the concert's finale.

Running Time: 60 minutes
Original Broadcast: September 13, 1990
If you combine this info, with the above info from post 5. by steventh you have a lot of information about this show. Further, besides the final song in the OP, it may be possible to find the entire show somewhere on the internet.......
comment:,,This information is truly amazing..can you imagine trying to get this information in say 1995?..Yes, it might be available somewhere, but getting a tape of the show itself, might be very difficult. Yet, here we have the final song, with information about the date of broadcast and how Meryl Streep put the group together..Just think about how the availability if information about anything has been speeded up by the internet and the search engines ...This is incredible. Thanks for the OP and post 5, by steventh
