. . . after Trump's attorney Marc Kasowitz met with Manhattan DA Cy Vance and made a $25,000 campaign contribution (which he returned when the press began pressing him about it), after which Vance overrode his assistant DAs and dropped the case (only to have Kasowitz come around later with a still larger contributions, raise serious questions about the ethics of the Manhattan DA, who is, sadly, a Democrat.
