Or the plague...or, if you were lucky, you'd be beheaded for treason against the crown.

So you didn't have to put up with the medieval era for all that long.

6. One Thing I Have Noticed Is How People Bend Over

Quit laughing, I'm serious.

Europeans (and Americans of European ancestry) tend to bend from the waist. People from Africa and Asia bend from the hip. I've tried it both ways and I find that it's a lot easier on the back and less tiring to bend from the hip.

toe..heel and not heel..toe. If you watch the TV show Frasier the actress Bebe Nuewirth walks that way when not wearing shoes.

I wish the camera had shown his entire body, including his neck and head, actually WALKING a ways.

Hint: There never were really dragons.

How they walk is not at all important.

I forget now where I read it, but it was long ago. Apparently. this is a fact among any people who were barefoot or wore moccasins.

Very interesting. Thanx for posting.

As marked50 says, its purpose is to move silently through the woods. There are a few YouTube videos with "Fox Walk" in the title that demonstrate it.

It's just fascinating. This would have never had occurred to me that people may have walked differently. We were having fun with this at work this past weekend trying to walk this way after I told colleagues about this.
