I know he wasn't that popular when he was on MSNBC, but this is a groundbreaking case and his work, and the obstacles he faced, deserve to be publicized. And Stephen brought up Woody Allen - an even more sensational case, which he addressed. This was an important interview, IMO.

But Colbert could reach a different audience. I hope he continues to make appearances.

So eloquent and undaunted. And he seems to have the right priorities. I loved the part about keeping the story where it belongs for now (though at some point I hope the NBC part comes out).

I watched the Rachel Maddow interview as well, and until then I didn't know he was the one who had broken this story. Hell, I didn't even know he was a journalist. But it's nice to see him getting the right kind of recognition for this piece.

Thanks so much for posting this clip.

It is especially gratifying that he is from Hollywood royalty and stood by his sister against his powerful father. Because of who he is, and how he stood up, there may have been many women more likely to talk to him than to anyone else. That's a true ally.

person who maintains self respect can achieve. He has endured a lot in his personal life yet handles it with insight, integrety and maturity. I admire him and his talent.
