Fmr. Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman says the steps that Robert Mueller is taking in his investigation indicate the probe is ramping up and will likely lead straight to the questioning of Trump himself. E.J. Dionne & Daniel Dale also join Lawrence O'Donnell.

Then TRump could be charged with obstruction of justice if he were to try firing Mueller, right?

2. Trump is likely already indicted for obstruction of justice.

At the very least, his obstruction of justice in firing Comey is a major aspect of Mueller's work. When the indictment dropped or will be dropped matters little, and Trump has already admitted his guilt in public, so what he does now only compounds his legal predicament. By not announcing the fact he is under investigation or indicted allows for more evidence to compile instead of silencing him.

I can't fathom how Mueller does not have a running list of all of them, and if not charge him for each specific statement, have a drop dead cumulative charge based on the pattern.

Honestly, if this country wasn't full on fucking stupid, people would see the need for it to reset the position of POTUS - to try to walk back the full on, out and out authoritarian, fascist manner in which he acts, to draw a line where the previous standard of conduct is the norm, not this fucking shit.
