BIG DONOR: "I told Pelosi and Schumer, if you attack the rich I'll cut you off!"

This deserves a response here.

This guy has a right to do what he wants with his money.

But the rest of us have a right to decide if this is the kind of veto power we want the party to give big donors.

Anyone can think they're being penalized for paying any tax at all.

Progressive taxation is an excellent policy, and it shouldn't just apply to wage income.

subsidies, bailouts, state department & military pressure on other governments to get a better deal...

I wonder how many of them are so pampered that it actually feels like persecution, and how many make these arguments out of cold calculation to hold onto what they got whether they think the tax they are putting off is reasonable enough.

Would he have to sell his Hummer?

Would he have to sell one of his houses?

Take his kids out of private school?

Take one less vacation or even one less pedicure?

The answer is obvious. After a certain point, it's just about having power over others, not taking care of your family or even your descendants two or three generations out.

$27.00 donations from concerned American People. If this was able to be achieved once - it will be able to be achieved again.

Tell the billionaires to shove it and then get them to pay their fair share.

He got pretty far, then the other person who shall not be named got even farther.

Probably because the ridicule, smears, and blackout that sunk Dean weren't fooling as many people anymore.

I suspect in another election or two the media can throw all the dirt, ridicule, fear-mongering, or even blackout a progressive candidate, and it won't hurt them enough to make a difference.

Then the shit will really hit the fan.
